ArborWoman offers, free, confidential, laboratory-grade pregnancy testing that is >99.5% accurate.

ArborWoman offers, free, confidential, limited obstetrical ultrasound services for women who are at least six weeks pregnant. A limited obstetrical ultrasound will provide information about three questions:

• Is the pregnancy growing in the uterus?
• How far along are you (also known as gestational age)? This will help to determine the due date.
• Are there signs of Cardiac activity (the human heart starts to beat at 5 weeks)?

It is beneficial to talk through your feelings and emotions, especially when facing an unexpected pregnancy. A supportive team of well-trained, knowledgeable women is here to listen and support you. In a safe environment, we provide non-biased, medically-accurate information on abortion, adoption and parenting. We give you the opportunity to get the information you deserve and to ask any questions you might have so that you can make the best decision for your future. For many women, spiritual considerations are also very important in decision-making. Whatever your religious beliefs, your pregnancy decision should bring peace to your mind, body and spirit. Our resources include insurance, support groups, counseling, pregnancy & parenting classes, adoption agencies and related materials.

ArborWoman offers continued support through education, counseling, safe-sleep classes, advice and materials to assist throughout your pregnancy and beyond. We are here to be by your side—no matter what.

For those women who choose abortion, the outcome may be as different as the women who have them. Some women come through with little interference in their daily lives, but many do not; 65% of women report experiencing symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress following their abortions.* These women may experience painful emotions and sad memories that resemble grieving for weeks, months and even years later. ArborWoman provides healing and counseling for these individuals in a safe, non-judgmental place through our post-abortion counseling services. ArborWoman offers counseling and support for women and families who have experienced miscarriage, still birth, and infant loss. We understand this is a very difficult and often lonely time. We are here to walk with you through your grief as we honor the life of your child. FEMM (Fertility Education & Medical Management) offers an educational program that teaches women about their monthly cycle and the important role it plays in their overall health. Participants learn about the physiology of their cycle and how to chart observable biomarkers to identify hormonal changes, key cycle events including ovulation, and other signs of health and fertility.

ArborWoman’s certified FEMM Teacher offers the following FEMM classes:

• FEMM Introduction Learn how FEMM can help you achieve your health and/or fertility goals-30-60 min, depending on group size & setting
• FEMM & Your Health* (Session 1) Learn how hormones influence your health and how to chart your hormonal activity-1.5-2 hrs
• FEMM Expert* (Session 2) Learn to identify healthy patterns or health problems-1.5-2 hrs
• FEMM Family Planning* (Session 3) Learn to manage your fertility-1.5-2 hrs
• TeenFEMM Program– Six 1 hr sessions designed for girls approaching puberty through (approximately) 10th grade

*Sessions 1, 2, & 3 must be taken in order.

ArborWoman offers the Fertility Education portion of FEMM. If medical concerns arise, ArborWoman will refer FEMM clients to a medical provider for Medical Management. ArborWoman works closely with a local provider who is trained in the FEMM medical protocols and will facilitate referrals as needed.
